Type in your own language with Google Input Tool | Malayalam Tamil Kannada Telugu Hindi Urdu Arabic

Now you can type any where in your own language with the help of Google Input Tools.   Google Input Tools for Windows is an input method editor which allows users to enter text in any of the supported languages using a Latin (English / QWERTY) keyboard. Users can type a word the way it sounds using Latin characters and Google Input Tools for Windows will convert the word to its native script. Available input tools include transliteration, IME, and on-screen keyboards.

You can able to write in Facebook, Twitter, any other web site or even Microsoft Word in your own language. For this you have to enable Google input tools in your PC, select the language from the  language bar and the type it in English as sound in your language. As soon as you type the word and press space bar it will appear in your language.  Also it will show available option, you can select from the option also.

Google Input Tools for Windows is presently available for 22 different languages: Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Persian, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya and Urdu.

Following easy steps guide you to enable Google Input Tools in your computer

1. Go to http://www.google.com/inputtools/windows/


2. Select your language. I have selected Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi as a example here.


3. Then select I agree Google Terms of Service and Privacy Police and click download.


  4. Then right click on the downloaded file and click Open.




















5. Then click Yes

















6. Then the installation will be done automatically. This will take a minute.













7. Click Close













Now you are about ready to use Google Input Tools.

8. Click on Language bar on your task bar and select the language you want to use.


9. Now open any application or any web page like Facebook or Microsoft word and start typing.
